¹⁰ While the sons of Israel camped at Gilgal ^(A)they observed the Passover on the evening of the ^(B)fourteenth day of the month on the desert plains of Jericho.

¹⁶ Now therefore, send quickly and tell David, saying, ‘^(A)Do not spend the night at the fords of the wilderness, but by all means cross over, or else the king and all the people who are with him will be ^[a]destroyed.’”
