^5 (A)No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just ^(B)as I was with Moses, so ^(C)I will be with you. ^(D)I will not leave you or forsake you.

⁸ And the Lord said to Joshua, ^(A)“Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands. ^(B)Not a man of them shall stand before you.”

^44 (A)And the Lord gave them rest on every side just as he had sworn to their fathers. ^(B)Not one of all their enemies had withstood them, for ^(C)the Lord had given all their enemies into their hands.
