¹³ Then Joshua ^(A)blessed him, and he gave ^(B)Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance. ¹⁴ Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, ^(C)because he wholly followed the Lord, the God of Israel.

¹² none except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the ^(A)Kenizzite and Joshua the son of Nun, for ^(B)they have wholly followed the Lord.’

^17 (A)And Othniel the son of Kenaz, ^(B)the brother of Caleb, captured it. And he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.
