Judges 1:7

7 Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings, with thumbs and big toes cut off, used to lick up[a] food scraps[b] under my table. God has repaid me for what I did to them.”[c] They brought him to Jerusalem, where he died.

- Judges 1:7 tn The words “food scraps” are not in the Hebrew text, but are implied.
- Judges 1:7 tn Heb “Just as I did, so God has repaid me.” Note that the phrase “to them” has been supplied in the translation to clarify what is meant.

7 Then Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back(A) for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem,(B) and he died there.
