Judges 1:14-16

14 Then (A)it came about when she came to him, that she persuaded him to ask her father for a field. Then she alighted from [a]her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What [b]do you want?” 15 She said to him, “Give me a blessing, since you have given me the land of the [c]Negev, give me also springs of water.” So Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
16 The [d]descendants of (B)the Kenite, Moses’ father-in-law, went up from the (C)city of palms with the sons of Judah, to the wilderness of Judah which is in the south of (D)Arad; and they went and lived with the people.

14 One day when she came to Othniel, she urged him[a] to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What can I do for you?”
15 She replied, “Do me a special favor. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water.” So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs.(A)
16 The descendants of Moses’ father-in-law,(B) the Kenite,(C) went up from the City of Palms[b](D) with the people of Judah to live among the inhabitants of the Desert of Judah in the Negev near Arad.(E)
