Judges 1:14-16

14 When she came to him, she urged him to ask her father for a field. As she dismounted from her donkey, Caleb said to her, ‘What do you want?’ 15 She said to him, ‘Give me a present; since you have set me in the land of the Negeb, give me also Gulloth-mayim.’[a] So Caleb gave her Upper Gulloth and Lower Gulloth.
16 The descendants of Hobab[b] the Kenite, Moses’ father-in-law, went up with the people of Judah from the city of palms into the wilderness of Judah, which lies in the Negeb near Arad. Then they went and settled with the Amalekites.[c]

New International Version
14 One day when she came to Othniel, she urged him[a] to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What can I do for you?”
15 She replied, “Do me a special favor. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water.” So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs.(A)
16 The descendants of Moses’ father-in-law,(B) the Kenite,(C) went up from the City of Palms[b](D) with the people of Judah to live among the inhabitants of the Desert of Judah in the Negev near Arad.(E)
