14 “Go and (A)cry out to the gods which you have chosen; let them deliver you in your time of distress.”
15 And the children of Israel said to the Lord, “We have sinned! (B)Do to us whatever seems best to You; only deliver us this day, we pray.” 16 (C)So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord. And (D)His soul could no longer endure the misery of Israel.

14 Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen. Let them save(A) you when you are in trouble!(B)”
15 But the Israelites said to the Lord, “We have sinned. Do with us whatever you think best,(C) but please rescue us now.” 16 Then they got rid of the foreign gods among them and served the Lord.(D) And he could bear Israel’s misery(E) no longer.(F)
