¹² Now Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the sons of Ammon, saying, “What is between you and me, that you have come to me to fight against my land?”

¹⁰ But the king said, “^(A)What have I to do with you, O sons of Zeruiah? ^(B)If he curses, and if the Lord has told him, ‘Curse David,’ ^(C)then who shall say, ‘Why have you done so?’”

²² David then said, “^(A)What have I to do with you, O sons of Zeruiah, that you should this day be an adversary to me? ^(B)Should any man be put to death in Israel today? For do I not know that I am king over Israel today?”

¹⁸ So she said to Elijah, “^(A)What do I have to do with you, O ^(B)man of God? ^[a]You have come to me to bring my iniquity to remembrance and to put my son to death!”

¹³ Now Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What do I have to do with you? ^(A)Go to the prophets of your father and to the prophets of your mother.” And the king of Israel said to him, “No, for the Lord has called these three kings together to give them into the hand of Moab.”

²¹ But ^[a]Neco sent messengers to him, saying, “^(A)What have we to do with each other, O King of Judah? I am not coming against you today but against the house with which I am at war, and God has ordered me to hurry. Stop for your own sake from interfering with God who is with me, so that He will not destroy you.”

²⁴ saying, “^(A)What ^[a]business do we have with each other, Jesus ^[b]of ^(B)Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—^(C)the Holy One of God!”

⁷ and shouting with a loud voice, he *said, “^[a](A)What business do we have with each other, Jesus, ^(B)Son of ^(C)the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!”

³⁴ “Let us alone! ^[a](A)What business do we have with each other, Jesus ^[b]of ^(B)Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—^(C)the Holy One of God!”
