Judges 13:22-24
Contemporary English Version
22 Manoah said, “We have seen an angel.[a] Now we're going to die.”[b]
23 “The Lord isn't going to kill us,” Manoah's wife responded. “The Lord accepted our sacrifice and grain offering, and he let us see something amazing. Besides, he told us that we're going to have a son.”
24 Later, Manoah's wife did give birth to a son, and she named him Samson. As the boy grew, the Lord blessed him.

New International Version
22 “We are doomed(A) to die!” he said to his wife. “We have seen(B) God!”
23 But his wife answered, “If the Lord had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and grain offering from our hands, nor shown us all these things or now told us this.”(C)
24 The woman gave birth to a boy and named him Samson.(D) He grew(E) and the Lord blessed him,(F)
