4 Now, please be careful. Do not drink wine or beer,[a] and do not eat anything unclean. 5 Listen, you will become pregnant and give birth to a son. No razor is to touch his head, for the boy will be a Nazirite dedicated to God from his mother’s womb. He will begin to deliver Israel from the hand of the Philistines.”
6 The woman went and told her husband, “A man of God came to me, and he looked like an angel of God, very awesome. I did not ask where he was from, and he did not tell me his name.

- Judges 13:4 Israel had two categories of alcoholic beverages: wine made from grapes, and beer made with a grain base. This beer sometimes included fruit to help with the fermentation.

4 Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink(A) and that you do not eat anything unclean.(B) 5 You will become pregnant and have a son(C) whose head is never to be touched by a razor(D) because the boy is to be a Nazirite,(E) dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead(F) in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.”
6 Then the woman went to her husband and told him, “A man of God(G) came to me. He looked like an angel of God,(H) very awesome.(I) I didn’t ask him where he came from, and he didn’t tell me his name.
