⁵ For lo, thou shalt conceive and bear a son, and no razor shall ^(A)come on his head: for the child shall be a ^[a]Nazirite unto God from his birth: and he shall begin to save Israel out of the hands of the Philistines.

¹¹ Also she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt look on the trouble of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but give unto thine handmaid a man-child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, ^(A)and there shall no razor come upon his head.
