15 She said to him, “How can you say, ‘I love you,’ when you hold back your love from me. You have mocked me these three times; you have not told me where your strength lies.” 16 She wore him out by talking to him day after day, and nagging him, until he was tired to death, 17 so he told her everything. He said to her, “No razor has ever touched my head because I have been a Nazirite of God from my mother’s womb. If I were to be shaved, then my strength would disappear and I would become as weak as any other man.”

15 Then she said to him, “How can you say, ‘I love you,’(A) when you won’t confide in me? This is the third time(B) you have made a fool of me and haven’t told me the secret of your great strength.(C) 16 With such nagging she prodded him day after day until he was sick to death of it.

17 So he told her everything.(D) “No razor has ever been used on my head,” he said, “because I have been a Nazirite(E) dedicated to God from my mother’s womb. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.”
