20 Then she said, “Samson, the Philistines are here!”
He woke up and thought, “I’ll leave as I did before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him.
21 Then the Philistines captured Samson and ·tore [gouged] out his eyes. They took him down to Gaza, where they put bronze ·chains [shackles] on him and made him grind grain in the prison. 22 But his hair began to grow again after it was shaved off.

20 Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”(A)
He awoke from his sleep and thought, “I’ll go out as before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him.(B)
21 Then the Philistines(C) seized him, gouged out his eyes(D) and took him down to Gaza.(E) Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain(F) in the prison. 22 But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved.
