3 Then he returned the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother; and his mother said, ‘I consecrate the silver to the Lord from my hand for my son, to make an idol of cast metal.’ 4 So when he returned the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave it to the silversmith, who made it into an idol of cast metal; and it was in the house of Micah. 5 This man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and teraphim, and installed one of his sons, who became his priest.

New International Version
3 When he returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, she said, “I solemnly consecrate my silver to the Lord for my son to make an image overlaid with silver.(A) I will give it back to you.”
4 So after he returned the silver to his mother, she took two hundred shekels[a] of silver and gave them to a silversmith, who used them to make the idol.(B) And it was put in Micah’s house.
5 Now this man Micah had a shrine,(C) and he made an ephod(D) and some household gods(E) and installed(F) one of his sons as his priest.(G)
