Judges 19:6-8
New English Translation
6 So the two of them sat down and had a meal together.[a] Then the girl’s father said to the man, “Why not stay another night and have a good time?”[b] 7 When the man got ready to leave,[c] his father-in-law convinced him to stay another night.[d] 8 He woke up early in the morning on the fifth day so he could leave, but the girl’s father said, “Get some energy![e] Wait until later in the day to leave.”[f] So they ate a meal together.

New International Version
6 So the two of them sat down to eat and drink together. Afterward the woman’s father said, “Please stay tonight and enjoy yourself.(A)” 7 And when the man got up to go, his father-in-law persuaded him, so he stayed there that night. 8 On the morning of the fifth day, when he rose to go, the woman’s father said, “Refresh yourself. Wait till afternoon!” So the two of them ate together.
