3 Therefore, I now say: I will not drive out these people before you.(A) They will be thorns[a] in your sides,(B) and their gods will be a trap for you.”(C) 4 When the angel of the Lord had spoken these words to all the Israelites, the people wept loudly. 5 So they named that place Bochim[b] and offered sacrifices there to the Lord.

3 And I have also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you;(A) they will become traps(B) for you, and their gods will become snares(C) to you.’”
4 When the angel of the Lord had spoken these things to all the Israelites, the people wept aloud,(D) 5 and they called that place Bokim.[a](E) There they offered sacrifices to the Lord.
