14 And the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.
15 But when the children of Israel cried unto Jehovah, Jehovah raised them up a saviour, Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a man left-handed. And the children of Israel sent tribute by him unto Eglon the king of Moab. 16 And Ehud made him a sword which had two edges, a cubit in length; and he girded it under his raiment upon his right thigh.

New International Version
14 The Israelites were subject to Eglon king of Moab(A) for eighteen years.
15 Again the Israelites cried out to the Lord, and he gave them a deliverer(B)—Ehud(C), a left-handed(D) man, the son of Gera the Benjamite. The Israelites sent him with tribute(E) to Eglon king of Moab. 16 Now Ehud(F) had made a double-edged sword about a cubit[a] long, which he strapped to his right thigh under his clothing.
