23 Ehud escaped by way of the porch, closing and locking the doors of the upstairs room behind him.
24 Ehud was gone when Eglon’s servants came in. They looked and found the doors of the upstairs room locked and thought he was relieving himself[a] in the cool room. 25 The servants waited until they became embarrassed and saw that he had still not opened the doors of the upstairs room. So they took the key and opened the doors—and there was their lord lying dead on the floor!

Judges 3:23-25
New International Version
23 Then Ehud went out to the porch[a]; he shut the doors of the upper room behind him and locked them.
24 After he had gone, the servants came and found the doors of the upper room locked. They said, “He must be relieving himself(A) in the inner room of the palace.” 25 They waited to the point of embarrassment,(B) but when he did not open the doors of the room, they took a key and unlocked them. There they saw their lord fallen to the floor, dead.
