³⁰So Moab was conquered by Israel that day, and there was peace in the land for eighty years.

³¹After Ehud, Shamgar son of Anath rescued Israel. He once killed 600 Philistines with an ox goad.

³⁰That day Moab^(A) was made subject to Israel, and the land had peace^(B) for eighty years.

³¹After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath,^(C) who struck down six hundred^(D) Philistines^(E) with an oxgoad. He too saved Israel.
