6 Then the sons of Israel ^(A)did what was evil in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord handed them over to ^(B)Midian for seven years.

Judges 6:1

New International Version

6 The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord,^(A) and for seven years he gave them into the hands of the Midianites.^(B)

⁹Yet You ^(A)have rejected us and brought us to ^(B)dishonor,
And ^(C)do not go out with our armies.

⁹But now you have rejected^(A) and humbled us;^(B)
you no longer go out with our armies.^(C)
