35 And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh, who also were gathered after him; and he sent messengers unto Asher and unto Zebulun and unto Naphtali, and they came up to meet them.

36 And Gideon said unto God, “If Thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as Thou hast said—

37 behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that Thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as Thou hast said.”

35 He sent messengers throughout Manasseh, calling them to arms, and also into Asher,(A) Zebulun and Naphtali,(B) so that they too went up to meet them.(C)

36 Gideon said to God, “If you will save(D) Israel by my hand as you have promised— 37 look, I will place a wool fleece(E) on the threshing floor.(F) If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know(G) that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.”
