Judges 8:3-5

3 God has given into your hand the commanders of Midian, Oreb, and Zeeb. What have I been able to do in comparison with you?” And their anger[a] against him subsided when he said that.[b]
4 Then Gideon came to the Jordan, crossing it with the three hundred men who were with him, weary and pursuing. 5 He said to the men of Succoth, “Please give loaves of bread to the people who are following me,[c] for they are weary, and I am pursuing Zebah and Zalmunna, the kings of Midian.”

3 God gave Oreb and Zeeb,(A) the Midianite leaders, into your hands. What was I able to do compared to you?” At this, their resentment against him subsided.
4 Gideon and his three hundred men, exhausted yet keeping up the pursuit, came to the Jordan(B) and crossed it. 5 He said to the men of Sukkoth,(C) “Give my troops some bread; they are worn out,(D) and I am still pursuing Zebah and Zalmunna,(E) the kings of Midian.”
