9 And he said also unto the men of Penuel, When I come again [a]in peace, I will break down this tower.
10 ¶ Now Zebah and Zalmunna were [b]in Karkor, and their hosts with them, about fifteen thousand, all that were left of all the hosts of them of the East: for there was slain an hundred and twenty thousand men, that drew swords.
11 ¶ And Gideon went through them that dwelt in [c]Tabernacles on the East side of Nobah and Jogbehah, and smote the host: for the host was careless.

New International Version
9 So he said to the men of Peniel, “When I return in triumph, I will tear down this tower.”(A)
10 Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor with a force of about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of the armies of the eastern peoples; a hundred and twenty thousand swordsmen had fallen.(B) 11 Gideon went up by the route of the nomads east of Nobah(C) and Jogbehah(D) and attacked the unsuspecting army.
