Judges 8:9-11

9 So he spoke also to the men of Penuel, saying, “When I return safely, (A)I will tear down this tower.”
10 Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their [a]armies with them, about 15,000 men, all who were left of the entire [b]army of the sons of the east; (B)for the fallen were 120,000 [c]swordsmen. 11 Gideon went up by the way of those who lived in tents on the east of Nobah and Jogbehah, and [d]attacked the camp when the camp was [e]unsuspecting.

9 So he said to the men of Peniel, “When I return in triumph, I will tear down this tower.”(A)
10 Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor with a force of about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of the armies of the eastern peoples; a hundred and twenty thousand swordsmen had fallen.(B) 11 Gideon went up by the route of the nomads east of Nobah(C) and Jogbehah(D) and attacked the unsuspecting army.
