⁹ But when they cried out^(A) to the Lord, he raised up for them a deliverer,^(B) Othniel^(C) son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, who saved them.

⁵ The Lord provided a deliverer^(A) for Israel, and they escaped from the power of Aram. So the Israelites lived in their own homes as they had before.

¹⁴ For if you remain silent^(A) at this time, relief^(B) and deliverance^(C) for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”^(D)

²⁰ It will be a sign and witness^(A) to the Lord Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the Lord because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior^(B) and defender, and he will rescue^(C) them.
