¹⁵ “The thornbush said to the trees, ‘If you really want to anoint me king over you, come and take refuge in my shade;^(A) but if not, then let fire come out^(B) of the thornbush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!’^(C)

¹¹ Now Hiram^(A) king of Tyre sent envoys to David, along with cedar logs and carpenters and stonemasons, and they built a palace for David.

⁹ So he built the temple and completed it, roofing it with beams and cedar^(A) planks. ¹⁰ And he built the side rooms all along the temple. The height of each was five cubits, and they were attached to the temple by beams of cedar.
