Lamentations 2:15-17
New American Standard Bible
15 All who pass along the way
(A)Clap their hands in ridicule at you;
They (B)[a]hiss and shake their heads
At the daughter of Jerusalem:
“Is this the city of which they said,
‘(C)Perfect in beauty,
(D)A joy to all the earth’?”
16 All (E)your enemies
Have opened their mouths wide against you;
They [b]hiss and (F)gnash their teeth.
They say, “We have (G)engulfed her!
This certainly is the (H)day which we awaited;
We have reached it, we have seen it!”
17 The Lord has (I)done what He determined;
He has accomplished His word
Which He commanded from days of old.
He has torn down (J)without sparing,
And He has helped the enemy to (K)rejoice over you;
He has (L)exalted the [c]might of your adversaries.

Micah 7:8-10
New American Standard Bible
8 (A)Do not rejoice over me, (B)enemy of mine.
Though I fall I will (C)rise;
Though I live in darkness, the Lord is a (D)light for me.
9 I will endure the rage of the Lord
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He (E)pleads my case and executes justice for me.
He will bring me out to the (F)light,
And I will look at His [a](G)righteousness.
10 Then my enemy will see,
And shame will cover her who (H)said to me,
“Where is the Lord your God?”
My eyes will look at her;
[b]At that time she will [c]be (I)trampled down
Like mud of the streets.
