9 Her gates have sunk into the ground;
(A)he has ruined (B)and broken her bars;
(C)her king and princes are among the nations;
the law is no more,
and (D)her prophets find
no vision from the Lord.

5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 6 Then they captured the king (A)and brought him up to the king of Babylon at (B)Riblah, and they passed sentence on him.

5 but the Babylonian[a] army pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho. All his soldiers were separated from him and scattered,(A) 6 and he was captured.(B)
He was taken to the king of Babylon at Riblah,(C) where sentence was pronounced on him.
