49 Then he[a] is to take two birds, a piece of cedar wood, a scrap of crimson fabric, and some twigs of hyssop[b] to purify[c] the house, 50 and he is to slaughter one bird into a clay vessel over fresh water.[d] 51 He must then take the piece of cedar wood, the twigs of hyssop, the scrap of crimson fabric, and the live bird, and dip them in the blood of the slaughtered bird and in the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times. 52 So he is to purify the house with the blood of the bird, the fresh water, the live bird, the piece of cedar wood, the twigs of hyssop, and the scrap of crimson fabric,

New International Version
49 To purify the house he is to take two birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop.(A) 50 He shall kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot.(B) 51 Then he is to take the cedar wood, the hyssop,(C) the scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times.(D) 52 He shall purify the house with the bird’s blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn.
