^20 (A)then I will uproot them from My land which I have given them; and this house which I have ^[a]sanctified for My name I will cast out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and a ^(B)byword among all peoples.

¹⁸ And first I will repay ^(A)double for their iniquity and their sin, because ^(B)they have defiled My land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable idols.”

¹³ “Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its ^(A)supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it.

^28 (A)Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; ^(B)you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

¹⁴ I ^(A)will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

^25 (A)Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, ^(B)forever; and ^(C)My servant David shall be their prince forever.

¹⁶ You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may ^(A)know Me, when I am ^(B)hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”
