2 “Tell the people of Israel: ‘When you bring an offering to the Lord, bring as your offering one of the cattle. Or you may bring one of the sheep or goats.
3 “‘If anyone offers a whole burnt offering from the cattle, it must be a male. It must have nothing wrong with it. The person must take the animal to the entrance of the Meeting Tent. Then the Lord will accept the offering. 4 The person must put his hand on the animal’s head. Then the Lord will accept that burnt offering. It will remove the person’s sin so he will belong to God.

2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When anyone among you brings an offering to the Lord,(A) bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.(B)
3 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering(C) from the herd,(D) you are to offer a male without defect.(E) You must present it at the entrance to the tent(F) of meeting so that it will be acceptable(G) to the Lord. 4 You are to lay your hand on the head(H) of the burnt offering,(I) and it will be accepted(J) on your behalf to make atonement(K) for you.
