Leviticus 1:8-10
International Children’s Bible
8 They must lay the head, the fat and other pieces on the wood. That wood is on the fire on the altar. 9 The priest must wash the animal’s inner organs and legs with water. Then the priest must burn all the animal’s parts on the altar. It is a whole burnt offering, an offering made by fire. And its smell is pleasing to the Lord.
10 “‘The burnt offering may be a sheep or goat. It must be a male animal that has nothing wrong with it.

New International Version
8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat,(A) on the wood(B) that is burning on the altar. 9 You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water,(C) and the priest is to burn all of it(D) on the altar.(E) It is a burnt offering,(F) a food offering,(G) an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(H)
10 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep(I) or the goats,(J) you are to offer a male without defect.
