3 So Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when He said:
I will show My holiness[a](A)
to those who are near Me,(B)
and I will reveal My glory[b](C)
before all the people.”
But Aaron remained silent.

7 Then the Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah,(A) and God struck him dead on the spot for his irreverence,(B) and he died there next to the ark of God. 8 David was angry because of the Lord’s outburst against Uzzah, so he named that place an Outburst Against Uzzah,[a] as it is today.
