6 Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,(A) “Do not let your hair hang loose(B) and do not tear your garments,(C) or else you will die, and the Lord will become angry(D) with the whole community. However, your brothers, the whole house of Israel, may mourn(E) over that tragedy when the Lord sent the fire. 7 You must not go outside the entrance to the tent of meeting or you will die, for the Lord’s anointing oil(F) is on you.” So they did as Moses said.

6 Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,(A) “Do not let your hair become unkempt[a](B) and do not tear your clothes,(C) or you will die and the Lord will be angry with the whole community.(D) But your relatives, all the Israelites, may mourn(E) for those the Lord has destroyed by fire. 7 Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting(F) or you will die, because the Lord’s anointing oil(G) is on you.” So they did as Moses said.
