47 You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.(A)’”

14 Then I said, “Not so, Sovereign Lord!(B) I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything found dead(C) or torn by wild animals. No impure meat has ever entered my mouth.(D)

They will not remain(A) in the Lord’s land;
    Ephraim will return to Egypt(B)
    and eat unclean food in Assyria.(C)
They will not pour out wine offerings(D) to the Lord,
    nor will their sacrifices please(E) him.
Such sacrifices will be to them like the bread of mourners;(F)
    all who eat them will be unclean.(G)
This food will be for themselves;
    it will not come into the temple of the Lord.(H)
