Then he shall bring it near before Yahweh and make atonement for her, and she shall be cleansed from the [a]flow of her blood. This is the law for her who bears a child, whether a male or a female. But if [b]she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take (A)two turtledoves or two young pigeons, (B)the one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering; and the (C)priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”

He shall offer them before the Lord to make atonement for her, and then she will be ceremonially clean from her flow of blood.

“‘These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl. But if she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons,(A) one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering.(B) In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.(C)’”
