Behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper, then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop. The priest is to go outside the camp and examine them.(A) If they have been healed of their defiling skin disease,[a](B) the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop(C) be brought for the person to be cleansed.(D) Then the priest shall order that one of the birds be killed over fresh water in a clay pot.(E)
