11 Thus Aaron shall offer the bullock for his sin offering, and make a reconciliation for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock for his sin offering.

12 And he shall take a censer full of burning coals from off the altar before the Lord, and his hand full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the [a]veil,

13 And shall put the incense upon the fire before the Lord, that the [b]cloud of the incense may cover the Mercy seat that is upon [c]the Testimony: so he shall not die.

11 “Aaron shall bring the bull for his own sin offering to make atonement for himself and his household,(A) and he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering. 12 He is to take a censer full of burning coals(B) from the altar before the Lord and two handfuls of finely ground fragrant incense(C) and take them behind the curtain. 13 He is to put the incense on the fire before the Lord, and the smoke of the incense will conceal the atonement cover(D) above the tablets of the covenant law, so that he will not die.(E)
