Leviticus 16:29-31

29 This shall be a permanent regulation for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble yourselves, and you shall not do any kind of work, neither the native-born nor the alien who resides among you. 30 For on this day atonement will be made on your behalf to cleanse you. You will become clean from all your sins in the presence of the Lord. 31 It shall be a sabbath of complete rest, and you shall humble yourselves. It is a permanent regulation.

New International Version
29 “This is to be a lasting ordinance(A) for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month(B) you must deny yourselves[a](C) and not do any work(D)—whether native-born(E) or a foreigner residing among you— 30 because on this day atonement will be made(F) for you, to cleanse you. Then, before the Lord, you will be clean from all your sins.(G) 31 It is a day of sabbath rest, and you must deny yourselves;(H) it is a lasting ordinance.(I)
