Leviticus 16:29-31

29 This shall be a statute to you for ever: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall deny yourselves,[a] and shall do no work, neither the citizen nor the alien who resides among you. 30 For on this day atonement shall be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins you shall be clean before the Lord. 31 It is a sabbath of complete rest to you, and you shall deny yourselves;[b] it is a statute for ever.

29 “This is to be a lasting ordinance(A) for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month(B) you must deny yourselves[a](C) and not do any work(D)—whether native-born(E) or a foreigner residing among you— 30 because on this day atonement will be made(F) for you, to cleanse you. Then, before the Lord, you will be clean from all your sins.(G) 31 It is a day of sabbath rest, and you must deny yourselves;(H) it is a lasting ordinance.(I)
