7 Next he will take the two goats and place them before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 8 After Aaron casts lots(A) for the two goats, one lot for the Lord and the other for an uninhabitable place,[a][b](B) 9 he is to present the goat chosen by lot for the Lord and sacrifice it as a sin offering.(C)

New International Version

7 Then he is to take the two goats and present them before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 8 He is to cast lots(A) for the two goats—one lot for the Lord and the other for the scapegoat.[a](B) 9 Aaron shall bring the goat whose lot falls to the Lord and sacrifice it for a sin offering.
