²¹ You shall not give any of your children ^(A)to ^[a]offer them to Molech, nor shall you ^(B)profane the name of your God; I am the Lord.

¹⁷ Then ^(A)they made their sons and their daughters pass through the fire, and they ^(B)practiced divination and interpreting omens, and ^(C)gave themselves over to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him.

⁶ And ^(A)he made his son pass through the fire, ^(B)interpreted signs, practiced divination, and used mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.
