⁵ So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, ^(A)which, if ^[a]a person ^[b]follows them, then he will live by them; I am the Lord.

^33 (A)You shall walk ^[a]entirely in the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, ^(B)so that you may live and that it may be well for you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.

God’s Gracious Dealings

8 “All the commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, so that you ^(A)may live and increase, and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord swore to give to your forefathers.

²⁰ Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, so that ^(A)you may live and possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

¹⁶ in that I am commanding you today ^(A)to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you ^(B)may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
