Leviticus 19:16-18

16 Don't be a gossip, but never hesitate to speak up in court, especially if your testimony can save someone's life.[a]
17 (A) Don't hold grudges. On the other hand, it's wrong not to correct someone who needs correcting. 18 (B) Don't be angry or try to take revenge. I am the Lord, and I command you to love others as much as you love yourself.

16 “‘Do not go about spreading slander(A) among your people.
“‘Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life.(B) I am the Lord.
17 “‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart.(C) Rebuke your neighbor frankly(D) so you will not share in their guilt.
18 “‘Do not seek revenge(E) or bear a grudge(F) against anyone among your people,(G) but love your neighbor(H) as yourself.(I) I am the Lord.
