Leviticus 19:25-27

²⁵In the fifth year, the people can eat the fruit. If they do this, the trees will give much fruit to the people. I am the Lord your God.

²⁶You must not eat any meat that has the blood in it. You must not do magic. You must not use magic to learn about future times.

²⁷A man must not cut the hair on the sides of his head. He must not cut the edges of his beard.

²⁵But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God.

²⁶“‘Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it.^(A)

“‘Do not practice divination^(B) or seek omens.^(C)

²⁷“‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.^(D)

²⁵And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the Lord your God.

²⁶Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

²⁷Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
