Good News Translation
6 The meat must be eaten on the day the animal is killed or on the next day. Any meat left on the third day must be burned, 7 because it is ritually unclean, and if anyone eats it, I will not accept the offering. 8 Any who eat it will be guilty of treating as ordinary what is dedicated to me, and they will no longer be considered my people.

6 It shall be eaten on the day you sacrifice it or on the next day; anything left over until the third day must be burned up.(A) 7 If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is impure and will not be accepted.(B) 8 Whoever eats it will be held responsible(C) because they have desecrated what is holy(D) to the Lord; they must be cut off from their people.(E)
