Leviticus 20:21-23

21 “ ‘Suppose a man gets married to his brother’s wife. That is something that should never be done. He has brought shame on his brother. Neither of them will have any children.
22 “ ‘Obey all my rules and laws. Follow them. Then the land where I am bringing you to live will not throw you out. 23 To make room for you, I am going to drive out the nations that are in the land. You must not follow the practices of those nations. I hated those nations because they did all those things.

21 “‘If a man marries his brother’s wife,(A) it is an act of impurity; he has dishonored his brother. They will be childless.(B)
22 “‘Keep all my decrees and laws(C) and follow them, so that the land(D) where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out. 23 You must not live according to the customs of the nations(E) I am going to drive out before you.(F) Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.(G)
