⁶ ‘As for the person who turns to ^[a](A)mediums and to spiritists, to play the prostitute with them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

⁶ And ^(A)he made his son pass through the fire, ^(B)interpreted signs, practiced divination, and used mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.

²⁴ Moreover, Josiah removed ^(A)the mediums, the spiritists, the ^[a](B)household idols, ^(C)the idols, and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, ^(D)so that he might ^[b]fulfill the words of the Law which were written ^(E)in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the Lord.
