Leviticus 22:7-9
Good News Translation
7 After the sun sets he is clean, and then he may eat the sacred offerings, which are his food. 8 He shall not eat the meat of any animal that has died a natural death or has been killed by wild animals; it will make him unclean. I am the Lord.
9 “All priests shall observe the regulations that I have given. Otherwise, they will become guilty and die, because they have disobeyed the sacred regulations. I am the Lord and I make them holy.

New International Version
7 When the sun goes down, he will be clean, and after that he may eat the sacred offerings, for they are his food.(A) 8 He must not eat anything found dead(B) or torn by wild animals,(C) and so become unclean(D) through it. I am the Lord.(E)
9 “‘The priests are to perform my service(F) in such a way that they do not become guilty(G) and die(H) for treating it with contempt. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.(I)
