35 The first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall not work at your occupations. 36 Seven days you shall present the Lord’s offerings by fire;[a] on the eighth day you shall observe a holy convocation and present the Lord’s offerings by fire;[b] it is a solemn assembly; you shall not work at your occupations.(A)
37 “These are the appointed festivals of the Lord that you shall celebrate as times of holy convocation, for presenting to the Lord offerings by fire[c]—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its proper day(B)—

35 The first day is a sacred assembly;(A) do no regular work.(B) 36 For seven days present food offerings to the Lord, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly(C) and present a food offering to the Lord.(D) It is the closing special assembly; do no regular work.
37 (“‘These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing food offerings to the Lord—the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings(E) required for each day.
